Richard Jorgensen, Ph.D., is the founder and president of Awareness Communication Technology, a company specializing in learning systems and worldwide communications. Using his background in the areas on Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy and Psychology, Richard created the proprietary software known as Personal Learning Technology, in which he received an honorary doctorate. Today this educational technology is marketed as eMod Learning Systems ("eMods").

With over 35 years of educating, writing, and software development experience under his belt, Richard is on a quest to use his proprietary eMod software to build a common platform for education. Richard and his wife Della currently reside in San Diego California, and both share the same passion for effective learning and education….with a little bit of sailing on the side.
